THE WEEK OF MAY 31 - JUNE 3

Happy Memorial Day! I hope this weekend has been a great time of fun, family and above all else rememberance of our fallen heros who have fought throughout the History of our nation to keep us free! As well as a huge thank you to all the soldiers who are still fighting to keep us free!

Well the Schumacher house was a wonderful place to be this weekend as we welcomed a very special house guest, and I am ever thankful that she did not run screaming from us when she left with Vance today...welcome Cicily!

Now onto the menu as it has been way to long since I have posted one!

MONDAY: CLOSED FOR MEMORIAL DAY

TUESDAY: STUFFED ROLLS YOUR CHOICE (HAM, PEPPERONI, BACON OR SAUSAGE) ALL WITH CHEESE THESE COME IN ANY NUMBER OR ASSORTMENT YOU WISH!

WEDNESDAY: CHICKEN CACCIATORE: This is a grea meal, full of flavor flavor flavor! Chicken, sauted and then bathed in a warm brandy sauce with mushrooms, onion tomatoes and fresh rosemary from the garden all poured over a bed of buttered pasta!

THURSDAY: LASAGNA; Well this one is a favorite and worth the time it takes to make as the moment it hits your lips you know, you are home!!

THE WEEK OF MAY 23 - 28

Here we are the end of May, Prom was a wonderful event and IN A BIND COOKING had a great time serving the kids of Dalhart High School!

This week I will be in the kitchen with special orders only, so if you need something to help you out with family coming in for graduation of the long weekend let me know!

MENU FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 2 - MAY 5

Happy May Day to you all! Hope this weekend has been a good one, many thoughts to the people in Alabama and Mississippi as they begin the clean up and continued search for loved ones.

With the weather causing me great confusion as to what season we are in here in the great northern tundrea of the Texas Panhandle, this weeks menu has a little bit of all the seasons.

MONDAY: GREEN CHILI CHICKEN ENCHILADAS; These will warm you up this day as the weather looks to be chilly at best. Tender chicken, fresh green chili's corn tortillias and cheese all baked up to a big smile for everyone.

TUESDAY: PARMESAN CHICKEN WITH PENNE PASTA IN A TOMATO BASIL CREAM SAUCE; Yummmmmm.....tender chicken breaded and sauted in olive oil and butter then baked to perfection and served over penne pasta with a rich and tangy tomato basil cream sauce.

WEDNESDAY: CLOSED FOR SPECIAL EVENT

THURSDAY: SESAME CHICKEN SALAD WITH ROSEMARY OLIVE OIL AND BLACKED CRACKED PEPPER KNOTS; Tender chicken in a tangy sesame sauce, plated over a bed of greens, and topped with chinese noodles and a gingerroot dressing! Along with the bread knots that are worth every bit!
